It is common for children in post-colonial countries, to view life in the West as supreme. But, nothing beats living in one’s own land.

African youth can be taught to appreciate the backbreaking work that our grandparents do. And we can be innovative in our approach.

Too often children are discouraged from pursuing their passions. In some countries, careers in the arts are discouraged.
